2. how to use the verb Be in the important sentence: is/are too

Teaching steps:

Step1:Warm-up

1. Free talk: What day is it today? What season do you like? What can you do in spring/summer/autumn/winter? What season do I like ,do you know?  T:I like summer best because I can wear my beautiful dresses. I like beautiful clothes. I know most of you like playing games,right? Now lets play a game,OK?

2. Play a game

Step 2 :Pre-reading

1. Just now ,we read some words about clothes. Can you watch and say the words about clothes?Try.

2. Boys and girls,look at the cap and the socks,Whose cap is it? Whose socks are these? Lets read the chant.

Step 3:While-reading

1. Look and ask

T: Well done.You did a good job.Look at the picture, do you have any questions? 

Ss: Q1:Who?       Q2:Where? (尽量让学生自己提问,学生自己解答)

T: They are at the party. Look at the picture carefully,What party is it?

(引导学生观察图片并试着说出来)Ss:Fancy dress party(教师带读)

TOK.Lets enjoy some pictures at the fancy dress parties.(向学生渗透化装舞会文化)

2. Watch and answer

TDo you like these fancy dress parties? Lets go to the party with them. Please watch and answer What are they talking about?” (整体输入)

3. Listen and tick

T: What clothes are they talking about? Lets listen and tick the right pictures.

   T: Lets check your answers.

4.Lets learn

5.Read and circle (快速阅读P38-39,圈出描写服饰的形容词)

 TIts time to read the story. Please read the story quickly and circle the adj. words about the clothes.  Ss read it.

a. too short  b. too long   c. so big   d. so beautiful 解释tooso, 板书四个形容词组

6.Read and find (迅速找到相关图片并细读相关句子,找出glovesdress的主人)

 T: At the party, Mike finds Su Yangs gloves are so big.Why? Please find the pictures and read carefully. Try to find the owners.   Who can tell me?

T: Can you understand the meaning? (PPT呈现,帮助学生理解名词所有格的含义)

7.Lets imitate (Learn picture by picture. )

2. lets show.(学生穿上自己准备的服装,展示并感受化装舞会的乐趣,引导学生感受英语学科的魅力。)

    3 Lets say(Summary)  (看着板书和图片,帮助学生用所学内容说一说人物的服装)

 T: Can you try to say something about these clothes? You can use these sentences. Pay attention to the verb Be.      用提示语描述服饰。Theis/are too Its/Theyre too(引导学生注意Be动词的正确运用)
