Step 1. Let's play

    Game 1: bomb game

    If you see a person or sentence, please stand up and speak it out. If you see a bomb, please get down quickly.

    Game 2: Listen and guess

Student A faces the blackboard. Student B says hello. Student A guesses who he is. Then student B says yes, I am/no I am not.

Step 2. Let’s sing

Are you Su Hai? Are you Su Hai?  

No, I’m not.  No, I’m not.

Are you Yang Ling? Are you Yang Ling?

      Yes, I am.  Yes, I am.

Step 3 Let’s watch

1. Watch and number

Watch a short video and put the following pictures into

the right order.

2. Listen and repeat

Please imitate the pronunciation and intonation of the

text.

3. Read and circle

What do Bobby and Sam say at last?

What is the meaning of goodbye?

4. Think and answer

Are they happy?

Is Bobby afraid of Sam?

How does Sam feel?

5. Cartoon show

       Work in groups and try to act out the dialogue.

Step 4 Let’s play

     Game: Save Jerry

     Present some exercises for students to do in order to check their learning effect.

Step 5 Summary and homework

1. Invite some students to summarize what have

learned this class.  

2. Homework

Read and write the words.

Listen and imitate the dialogue.
